Full membership of The Vikings - Vinland is open to anyone over the age of 18. Children under 18 years of age may become junior members.

The society charges an annual membership fee (payable in November each year), which is currently set at $ 50.00 CAD per adult member who are residents of Canada and 25.00 for US based members for the 2010 calendar year. Junior membership fee is 1.00 and is for those young folk under 18.

In return, resident members are covered by the Chapter's  insurance, and all members receive a regular newsletter to keep them informed of events, resources, and society business, and gain free entry to all society displays, web discussion groups,  membership card, combat and craft assessments and recognition of effort.

The Vikings UK Society membership varies throughout the year, normally peaking at around 1500 members worldwide, mainly based in the UK, but we are steadily growing within Canada and US.
